Bengaluru Riots: Minors Booked Under UAPA Get Bail
Ten minors, including an 8-year-old boy, who were booked under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act for their alleged involvement in stone-pelting during the Bengaluru riots, were granted bail. Advocate Basava Gowda, who appeared for the juveniles, said, "The court observed that juveniles in conflict with the law should always be given a chance for rehabilitation." He also claimed that the juveniles were physically assaulted by the police during the custody.
