Bhalswa Landfill Fires: Locals Report Breathing Problems, Cough & Heat

Due to the frequent fire incidents at Delhi's Bhalswa landfill site, the residents living in the vicinity have been reporting breathing issues and cough. The site again caught fire on June 3, after which fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Earlier on April 26, when a fire broke out, it took the tenders six consecutive days to be doused. The residents demand a permanent solution for the fires.
