Expressing concern over the recent communal clashes in Indian cities, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said the religious sentiments of the people should be respected. On April 18, he addressed an event 'janta ke darbaar me mukhyamantri' and said, "Here should be an atmosphere of love and brotherhood. Every religion has its own way. We should not fight among ourselves over this". Furthermore, Bihar Police is on high-alert amid clashes.
