Bihar Elections: Former Chief Minister Jitam Ram Manjhi Re-Joins NDA Ahead of Polls

Hindustani Aawam Morcha (HAM) president and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi returned to NDA alliance, on September 2. He had quit NDA in 2018 to join the 'Mahagathbandhan'. However, Manjhi formed an alliance with Lalu Prasad Yadav to contest the 2019 Elections, but couldn't win a single seat in Bihar. "We have forged an alliance with Janata Dal (United) & have become a part of the NDA," Manjhi mentioned.
