Bihar Govt Releases Caste Survey Census Report, 36.01% Are Backward Category

The Nitish Kumar-led Bihar Government released the Caste Survey Census data on October 2. As per the released survey, over 60% population belong to other castes, backward, SC/ST, whereas close to 15.54% are general category. "Today, on the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the data of caste-based census conducted in Bihar has been published. Many congratulations to the entire team engaged in the work of caste-based enumeration!" said Nitish.
