BJP Finally Curtails Rallies In Bengal Amid Looming COVID-19 Threat
The BJP on April 19 announced to suspend all the big rallies, including those of PM Narendra Modi, in West Bengal due to the rising COVID threat. The party said that no meeting will be held for more than 500 people and it would utilise its "massive digital footprint" to appeal voters across the state. The TMC, Congress and the Left have already announced to cancle election rallies.
