Blood Donations Decline In Bengaluru Linked To Covid-19 Pandemic

Bengaluru Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI), the Indian Red Cross Society, and other organisations said they've registered a one-third decline in the blood donations in Bengaluru compare to the post-COVID-19. Reportedly, there could be multiple reasons after the COVID-19 pandemic such as hesitancy among people with certain blood groups and ongoing vaccination drives. However, there are no localised data that can prove the hesitancy.
