B'luru Docs Claim COVID Infection Among Children Up By 4% In 2nd Wave

Bengaluru Paediatricians have reported an increase in COVID-19 infections among the children during the second wave in the city. Virologist Dr. V Ravi claimed that the infection rate among children is from 10%-20%, 4% higher than the first wave cases. District civic body stated 19,401 COVID-19 cases were reported from children aged below 10. Paediatricians cite 'irresponsible behaviour of adults' and diet problems as reasons behind these cases.
