B'luru Doctor Busted For Stealing Vaccine From PHC And Using Illegally

The Bengaluru police on May 20 arrested a doctor at a Public Health Centre in Manjunathnagar for vaccinating people at her associate’s house in Bengaluru. The accused identified as Dr Pushpita (25) a medical officer with her associate Prema (34) were reportedly charging Rs 500 for one Covishield vaccine shot. The police said that “The doctor used to get the vials from the PHC in a frozen vial carrier.”
