BMC To Construct 162 Artificial Ponds For Ganesh Idol Immersion: Mumbai

Ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) decided to construct 162 artificial ponds for idol immersion. Constructed in Mumbai, the BMC will also deploy trucks with immersion facilities and idol collection centres in 24 wards. Furthermore, the municipal corporation launched shreeganeshvisarjan.com, an official website to enrol details of immersion, time-venue, for facilities. Notably, for celebration, the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government lifted all restrictions for Ganesh utsav.
