BMC Issues Guidelines Ahead Of Maha Shivratri: Odisha

Taking the precautionary COVID-19 measures, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued regulations for the city's Maha Shivratri celebrations, which will take place on March 1. According to the guidelines, during the darshan of Lord Lingaraj, devotees will not be allowed to perform puja on Maha Shivratri. Meanwhile, the priests have to follow all the COVID-19 protocols. Notably, from Singhadwar to Aadda Kathha, worshippers are permitted to see Lord Lingaraj.
