BMW Group Invests In 'Boston Metal' For CO2- Free Steel Production

To promote a cleaner environment, BMW group is funding American startup 'Boston Metal' to create a method for CO2-free steel production. Funded by venture arm BMW i Ventures, the investment eyes at promoting sustainable activities through reduced CO2 emissions. Besides safeguarding the reserves of raw materials, the company has vowed to use materials multiple times by 2030. Notably, Boston Metal is eyeing to look for renewable sources of energy.
