Board Marks Criteria Likely be Dropped This Year for IIT and JEE Admissions

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak hindering Board exams across the country, the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are under discussion of dropping Class 12 performance criterion for admissions this year. Last month several Boards, including CBSE and CISCE, cancelled the remaining Class 10 and Class 12 exams amidst growing concerns over student safety. JEE (Advanced) will be held on September 27.
