A bomb exploded in a mosque in Afghanistan's northeastern Kunduz region, killing at least 50 and injuring more than 90 others on October 8, as per Taliban authorities. The big explosion occurred during the weekly Friday prayer service at a Shiite mosque. The reason was not entirely evident.
