Booster Shot To Be Taken Only 9 Months After 2nd Dose: CoWIN CEO
Dr RS Sharma, the Chief Executive Officer of CoWIN portal clarified about the 'precautionary dose' amid global Omicron scare. During a press meet on December 27, Dr Sharma said, the precaution dose (booster dose) should be taken only 9 months after the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Moreover, PM Narendra Modi announced precautionary dose against Coronavirus for the front line workers and senior citizens with comorbidities.
