Buildings Collapse due to Rainfall, 7 Dead: Mumbai

On July 16, residential buildings collapsed in two different areas of Mumbai, due to an extreme downpour. The incident caused the lives of seven people and left 16 badly injured. The first incident took place in the Fort Area at, where a six-floor MHADA building collapsed. Hours later a three-floor chawl collapsed in Malad's Malwani. Aaditya Thackeray has announced a compensation amount of Rs 5 Lakh for the deceased.
