Bull Training For Jallikattu In Full Swing Ahead Of Pongal In Tamil Nadu

Ahead of Pongal festival, the trainers of Tamil Nadu have started training the bulls for the upcoming traditional bull-taming sport Jallikattu. On the occasion of Maattupongal (cow festival) on January 16, in Suriyur village next to Trichy, the Jallikattu competition will be held under the guidance of the district administration. These bulls are part of our family and we train them for various competitions and expect to win many prizes, said one bull trainer.
