‘Burger King’ Faces Heat for Selling Expired Food in China

Two outlets of 'Burger King' were exposed by a Chinese television programme, through a CCTV video footage for using expired products. The first footage exposed its staff replacing old expiry labels on bread with new ones on the restaurant manager's instruction. In the second footage, they changed the expiry date of the chicken. After the incident, 'Burger King' immediately released an apology statement and closed the outlets for investigation.
