Byju's To Fire 2500 Staff Under New Plan, Aims Profit By March 2023

Edtech Byju's decided to plan their 2022-2023 strategy and become a profitable organisation by March 2023. In a statement, co-founder Divya Gokulnath said, to optimise its marketing and operational cost, which will lead to the retrenchment of 5% of employees or about 2,500 people in the next six months. Moreover, Byju will start focussing on building brand awareness with new partnerships and hiring 10,000 teachers for Indian and overseas businesses.
