Byju’s Gets $500 Million Investment from Silver Lake

Edu-tech firm Byju’s has attracted $500 million investment from the US-based Silver Lake. The investment has taken Byju’s valuation to $10.8 billion. The firm has already raised $1 billion this year from investors including Tiger Global and General Atlantic investing $200 million each. Byju’s CEO Byju Raveendran said, “We are fortunate to be in a sector of positive relevance and excited about the opportunities to redefine the future of learning.”
