Cabinet May Approve Extension Of EPF Support For Business And Workers

According to the reports from CNBC TV-18, the Union Cabinet is likely to extend the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) for business and workers for three months. Under Prime Minister (PM) Garib Kalyan Package, EPF support of 24% was earlier announced for business and low wage workers till August 30. The Government had also reduced EPF contribution for business and workers from 12% to 10%.
