Calcutta High Court Restricts Public Entry In Durga Puja Pandals
In order to control the COVID-19 transmission, the Calcutta High Court on October 19 has restricted public entry in Durga Puja pandals in West Bengal. The court ordered that only organisers will be allowed inside the pandals and their names should be displayed outside it as well. Earlier, the state CM Mamata Banerjee had announced that the pandals will be opened for the visitors from 'Tritiya' (October 23) itself.
