Canada To Ban Entry Of International Students To Ontario Province

Canada has decided to ban the entry of all international students to Ontario as the province has been hit by the third wave of COVID-19. However, Ontario is the only province to request this measure. Initially students were permitted to enter the country with special passes to attend universities. Notably, in 2020, there were 5,30,540 foreign students in Canada, according to the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE).
