Cartographers Claim To Have Developed Most Accurate 2D World Map
Princeton University cartographers have reportedly developed the most accurate 2D world map till date. The two-sided map promising globe like accuracy despite being flat has to be flipped over for the complete picture. Project leader J. Richard Gott claimed to have touched accuracy, measuring score of 0.881 as compared to the existing 'Winkel Tripel flat map' and the 'Mercator projection', having 4.563 and 8.296 score respectively. Experts say, lower the score, higher is the accuracy.
