Celebration Of Ganesh Chaturthi Banned In Public Places: DDMA

Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has released a statement prohibiting any public celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi in the city. Besides, any other social, cultural, political, entertainment and religious festival-related gatherings will not be encouraged. While the citizens will not be permitted to visit any religious places, the officials will also ensure that no idols of Ganesha be placed in any kind of tent or pandals, this year.
