Centre Allots Rs 6500 Cr For Revamping New Delhi Railway Station

Nine leading companies in the likes of Adani Railways, Omaxe and GMR highways are grappling for the New Delhi railway station's (NDLS) Rs 6,500 crore redevelopment project. Spanning 30 acres near the Connaught Place area, the renovated NDLS envisages world-class retail, office, and hospitality amenities along with improved metro and airport connectivity, green tracks and multilevel parking. The makeover is a part of the Centre's railway monetisation scheme.
