Centre Launches "Swadeshi Microprocessor Challenge" to Support Domestic Industry

As part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat scheme, Indian government has launched the Swadeshi Microprocessor Challenge to promote the domestic microprocessor companies. The challenge's guidelines say that 100 semi-finalists and 25 finalists will be receiving cash award while top 10 teams will get a seed fund of total Rs 2.30 crore as well as incubation support for one year. The challenge was launched by Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.
