Centre, Protesting Farmers Reach Consensus On Two Of Four Issues
Except two issues: Legal guarantee on MSP and repeal of the farm laws, the Centre and the protesting farm unions have reached a consensus on matters of stubble burning and power tariff. The mutually agreed stance was achieved in December 30 meeting. Moreover, the government is trying to convince farmers through redressing their grievances and explaining the laws' benefits to them. However, for the remaining two issues, talks will be held on January 4.
