Centre Warns Bengal CM Mamata For Failing To Produce Report On Violence

The Union Home Ministry, in its latest letter to West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on May 6, has underlined her non-responsive attitude towards the reports demanded by the Centre on the post-poll violence in the state. Sent by Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, the letter sternly warned, "Non-compliance of this second letter would be taken seriously". The ministry has already sent its four-member team to analyze the ground-level situation first hand.
