Chadwick Boseman Posthumously Awarded As Best Actor At Golden Globes
Late Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman, well-known for his role of Black Panther, was awarded with the Best Actor for a motion picture at the Golden Globes 2021. He was awarded posthumously for his movie 'Black Bottom' and the honor was received by his wife Taylor Simone who stated, "He [Chadwick Boseman] would thank god. He would thank his parents." In this year's edition, Andra Day won award for ‘Best Performance by an Actress’ in a motion picture for the 'United States vs. Billie Holiday'. As for the drama category 'Nomadland' has been awarded the Best Picture and its director Chole' Zhao was chosen as the Best Director at the Golden Globes. Interestingly, Netflix's controversial historical drama show 'The Crown' bagged four awards, including the Best Television series in drama award. Conducted virtually, the 78th edition of the award show also honoured 83-year-old Jane Fonda with the prestigious Cecil B. deMille Award for her contributions in arts and cinema.
