Chahal Becomes First Indian To Be Named As Concussion Substitute
In the opening T20I against Australia, BCCI has fielded Yuzvendra Chahal as a concussion substitute for Ravindra Jadeja. The all-rounder has been hit on the helmet in a bouncer by Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc. However, Jadeja continued to bat. During the 19th over, he underwent a hamstring injury and was declared unfit by the BCCI medical team. Interestingly, Chahal is the first Indian to achieve the feat.
