China Furthers its Weight in World University Rankings; Oxford Tops
China’s Tsinghua University is the first Asian institution to break into the top 20 in World University Rankings. Beijing also doubled its renditions, from 3 (2019) to 6 (2020) in the top-100 arena. Experts believe, as the students stay back due to the COVID-19, China will benefit, while the US and UK may lose significant international student talent. Meanwhile, Oxford University retained its top spot for the 5th consecutive time.
