China: New Law To Cut Homework Pressure On Students

Parliament of China had proposed an education law earlier which has been passed on October 23. The law seeks to cut the pressure of homework and off-site tutoring in core subjects. The law also states that the government has the right to punish parents if their children commit crimes or exhibit very bad behavior. Moreover, this is also to make sure that children get rest and exercise, thereby reducing pressure.
