China To "Verify Situation" After India's App Ban

India banned 59 mobile applications linked to China on June 29, over the ongoing border tension and security concerns. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian during a press briefing on May 30 said they are "strongly concerned". Earlier this month, the 'Boycott Chinese Products' campaign saw large support from the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT). The Internet Services Provider Association of India (ISPAI) has meanwhile lauded the ban.
