China's Badminton Champion Lin Dan Announces Retirement 

Two-time Olympic champion Lin Dan, aged 36, announced his retirement on July 4. Dan, Arguably the greatest badminton player of all time won gold for China at Beijing 2008 and London 2012 games. Dan along with his rival and friend Former Malaysian star Lee Chong Wei dominated the court for over a decade. Lin thanked his family and friends for the support they extended, in a social media post.
