China's crude oil imports, hit new record
China's Crude Oil Imports Hit New Record

According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China bought 53.18 million tonnes of oil, which is equivalent to 12.9 million barrels per day (bpd). This is nearly 33% more than the amount of crude oil they imported in the same quarter last year, beating its own record of 11.3 million bpd in May. Chinese refiners have bargain hunted when oil prices collapsed in April amid the pandemic.
