Chinese 'RedEcho' Attack Behind Mumbai Blackout: Reports

Cybersecurity company Recorded Future has hinted that 'RedEcho' - a China-linked organization - may have had a share in Mumbai's recent electricity blackout. It further revealed that RedEcho had 10 distinct Indian organizations, within power generation and transmission sectors, under its target. As per reports, Maharashtra police's cyber wing has detected over 40,000 cyberattacks originating from China, which increased owing to the border clash between India and China.
