Chris Morris, Sanju Samson Star In Rajasthan's 6-Wicket Win Over KKR
After two back to back loses in the ongoing season of IPL2021 the Rajasthan Royals on April 24 registered their third win against Kolkata knight riders by six wickets. In their fifth contender at the Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium, Royals, after winning the toss elected to bowl first and successfully restricted the Knight Riders on 133/9. Chasing a below par target of 134, Royals won the game in the 19th over with 11 balls remaining. Leading the Royals from the front, Skipper Sanju Samson with his not out run-a-ball 42* took his team to an easy win. Earlier, batting first and even after pretty good start from openers Nitish Rana and Shubham Gill, the knight riders could not make it to a big total. All-rounder Chris Morris was awarded the player of the match for his artistic spell of 4/23. With another blow the KKR slipped to the eighth position in the points table.
