CIA Officer Reports Havana Syndrome During India Trip
A CIA officer accompanying director William Burns on a trip to India reported symptoms compatible with Havana syndrome, on September 20. Havana syndrome has afflicted more than 200 people in United States, including government leaders and their families. U.S. embassy-personnel in Cuba first reported this in 2016. "We have protocols in place for when individuals report possible anomalous health incidents that include receiving appropriate medical treatment," said a CIA spokesperson.
