Citizens Above 60 Years To Take Booster Dose From March 16
Citizens above 60-year-age are now eligible to take COVID-19 booster dose, to enhance immunity, from March 16. Previously amid the third pandemic wave, the precautionary dose was allowed for frontline warriors and people with comorbidities. However, on March 14, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced the third vaccine shot for everyone, above 60-year. The decision came at a time, when the Union Government also approved COVID-19 vaccine dose for children(12-14-year).
