Civil Services Aspirant Ends Life As Covid Postpones Interview
Swapnil Lonkar, a 24-year-old MPSC applicant allegedly committed suicide in Pune's Hadapsar district over depression. In a suicide note, he mentioned he had fears missing the age cut for the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC), and the final interview failed to take place, said Senior Inspector Balkrushna Kadam. However, Lonkar cleared the preliminary and main examinations for the 2019 MPSC and was expecting the final interview to happen.
