CM Uddhav Thackeray Inaugurates 5 New Cyber Police Stations In Mumbai
Taking a step against the rising cybercrime in the city, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on January 26 inaugurated five cyber police stations in Mumbai. Established in five different localities, each station will staff around 30-50 trained personnel and will be administered by the Mumbai Police. The stations aims to expand the scope of cyber-security and enhance the speed of solving cybercrime cases. Reportedly, around 2,200 cybercrimes were recorded between January and November 2020.
