CM Yediyurappa Confirms Tesla's Manufacturing Plant In Karnataka

Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa has confirmed that Elon Musk's Tesla would install its manufacturing plant in Karnataka. Earlier, the electric car maker had formally registered its office in Karnataka's capital Bengaluru. Reportedly, the company's research and development unit will also be set up soon. Previously, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari had affirmed that Tesla's Indian stint would begin with sales, followed by assembling and manufacturing.
