Codeyoung To Coach One Lakh Deprived Children For Entrepreneurship Skills
Commencing a noble initiative, EdTech entrepreneur Shailendra Dhakad has offered to educate around one lakh underprivileged children with coding and entrepreneurship skills for free via his Codeyoung platform. To provide thrust to the campaign, Dhakad has also collaborated with learning platform TechJr that has a similar cause of educating the 21st century children with weak financial assistance. Reportedly, the partnership between the two will aim at instilling essential skills to the new generation students aged between 8-20 years such as, coding, web development and building apps. Moreover, the initiative is a part of TechJr's mission #AbPooraIndiaSekhega that solely aims at educating underprivileged children with specialized skills. Codeyoung co-founder Dhakad said, "These specialised programs in coding and entrepreneurship will help them in adapting to the future and increase their employability for better roles.”
