Congress Leader Kavitha Reddy Apologizes to Samyuktha Hegde for Alleged Assault

On September 6, Congress leader Kavitha Reddy apologized to South Indian actress Samyukhta Hegde for the alleged harassment that took place at a park in Bengaluru. In the 51-second video released by Reddy, she stated, "I express regret and even though I did not physically assault or hit Samyukhta's friend which was evident in the video, I still owe an unconditional apology". She further stated that she has always opposed "moral policing", and admitted that she lost her temper.
