Congress Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill Resigned From Party
Taking sharp digs at the Congress, leader and spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill resigned from the party on August 24. In a letter submitted to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Shergill said, "vision of the party's decision-makers is no longer in sync" adding that he had "severed all ties" with the party. He further said, he sought a meeting with Gandhis for over a year now but was denied into their office.
