Covid-19: Bangalore Urban Reports More Single Day Spike Than Delhi and Mumbai
As of August 12, Karnataka has Reported 7,883 fresh Covid-19 cases within 24 hours, taking the total count to 1,96,494 confirmed cases in the state. The numbers are rapidly increasing, higher than Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and other states. The single day spike witnessed in Karnataka, is the third highest in the country, just after Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Reportedly, the increasing rate of the cases in Maharashtra is at 14.65% while Karnataka has an increasing rate of 25.99%. Bangalore Urban recorded 2,802 cases within 24 hours, which is more than Delhi, Mumbai and many other Cities.
