COVID-19: 'Vaccine Desert' Nations Struggle To Jab Frontline Workers
Countries like Chad, Burkina Faso, Eritrea, Burundi and Tanzania are yet to receive the COVID-19 vaccine amidst the pandemic. Called as vaccine desert countries, the African nations have no access to vaccines even for frontline workers while other countries are scrambling to stock up jabs for their citizens. The World Health Organisation says there are a dozen more countries apart from these that are yet to receive medical help.
