COVID-19 to Worsen, Nations Heading in Wrong Direction: WHO Chief

On July 13 at a briefing in Geneva, World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that due to mixed messages coming from leaders, public trust is lessening and the pandemic has still not come under control. "If the basics aren't followed, there is only one way this pandemic is going to go," he said. "It's going to get worse and worse and worse," he added.
