CoWIN App Not For Vaccine Registration, Only For Administrative Use: Govt

The Centre on March 1 stated CoWIN app has been developed only for administrators to manage the inoculation drive and is not a registration platform for COVID-19 vaccination. It clarified that individuals, who want to get vaccinated, can register themselves through official website. The statement followed the beginning of India's second-phase of mass vaccination which is expected to cover around 27 crore people who are either aged above 60 or are above 45 with co-morbidity.
